The Olive Shoppe

The Olive Shoppe is located at the Cotton Exchange. It is a great place to find superb balsamic vinegars and  delicious olive oils. Foodies regard their 5-star traditional aged balsamic vinegar as the best available in this area. Jars of hand-stuffed olives and several types of spreads are in stock, as are cocktail mixers. Any of these items make a wonderful souvenir or hostess gift.

Tasters are always welcome at The Olive Shoppe and if you would prefer to have your purchases shipped, the shop does that too.

When you’ve made your way up to The Cotton Exchange, between Front and Nutt streets, stop in the lower level vestibule and take time to read about its history and how these eight buildings, once part of the world’s largest cotton-exporting company, were converted to a shopping and dining complex in the early 1970s. This tri-level mall is a great place to explore.

Today there are 30 unique shops and restaurants at The Cotton Exchange. Several of the shops specialize in art works of various types and all are worth a visit.
