Celebrate 2020 in regal fashion at one of the most beautiful and historic theaters in the country, Thalian Hall Center for Performing Arts. New Year’s Eve 2020 Gatsby Party at Pour Taproom

Join Pour Taproom for a Great Gatsby Roaring 20’s New Year’s Eve bash! Tickets are $50/person or $90/couple and includes 2 Specialty Cocktail drinks from Misterbartenderportcity, Buffet style food, a champagne toast at midnight, party favors and music with Acclaim DJ. Roaring Twenties attire is encouraged, but not required!

Brett Blakeney at Dead Crow Comedy

Dancing not your thing? Check out the hilarious Brent Blakeney at Dead Crow Comedy Room on December 31st. Brent Blakeney is a comedian out of Raleigh, NC. Starting in 2011, Brent has been ardently practicing his craft, and has not let off the gas. Hard work and dedication has led to Brent gaining notoriety at comedy festivals, as well as the chance to work with some of the biggest names in the industry; such as Brian Regan, Bill Burr, and Iliza Shelsinger. In 2015, Brent was picked up to be the featured opener for “Last Comic Standing” winner Jon Reep. He has accompanied Jon around the country performing in clubs and theaters alike. Island of Lights New Year’s Eve Celebration

The Carolina Beach New Year’s Celebration begins at 9 PM. Don’t miss the giant beach ball being dropped at midnight followed by a spectacular fireworks demonstration.

This free family-friendly event will feature a DJ and dancing with refreshments and party favors available for purchase. In an Island of Lights tradition there will be a raffle, with the winner taking home the original artwork for the Island of Lights 2019 official Christmas card and ornament.
