Enjoy Outdoor Concerts in the Wilmington Area

Residents of the Wilmington area are lucky to have a number of area outdoor concerts to choose from. Wherever you happen to make your home in the beautiful Port City, chances are there is a summer outdoor concert event happening near you!

Downtown Sundown

Wilmington’s Downtown Sundown Concert Series brings area residents a variety of fabulous cover bands and live acts every Friday evening from Memorial Day to Labor Day in historic downtown Wilmington. Concerts in Greenfield Lake Amphitheater

The Greenfield Lake Amphitheater, located at Greenfield Lake Park in downtown Wilmington, is Wilmington’s premier outdoor concert venue. Head to the amphitheater this summer to see a wide variety of big-name musical acts like JJ Grey and Mofro, Old Dominion and the Robert Cray Band. Monkey Junction Concert Series

Summer outdoor concerts that were once held at Mayfaire Town Center are now taking place in Monkey Junction every Friday evening starting at 6:30 pm. The Monkey Junction Summer Concert Series features some of the best local and regional bands in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Beverages are available for purchase during these free concerts, and attendees are welcome to bring their own takeout food from local restaurants

Airlie Gardens Concerts

Now through September 16th, head to beautiful Airlie Gardens for its 2016 Summer Concert Series. Concerts take place every first and third Friday from 6 to 9 pm each evening. Concert attendees can purchase tickets online via the Airlie Gardens website. Lawn chairs, blankets, coolers and outside beverages are permitted.

Brunswick Forest Fall Concerts

Head to Brunswick Forest for its fall concert series which will be held in beautiful Annsdale Park, conveniently located in the heart of the community. Bring your tents and coolers for a night of fantastic blues music, Saturday, September 17th and come back Saturday, October 22nd to hear great beach music while enjoying the gorgeous fall weather in coastal North Carolina.
