Because Valentine’s Day is on a Sunday this year, that leaves the entire weekend open to celebrate! Below are some of our favorite places to enjoy a meal, cocktail or dessert. We recommend you fit in as many of these local favorites as you can…just remember to make a reservation. Cheers!

PinPoint Restaurant
February 13-14th
PinPoint Restaurant will offer a special Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe Tasting Menu for $65 per person both nights. The five course menu will feature items including Masonborro NC oysters with champagne gelee and NC caviar, local greens with persimmon, satsuma, mascarpone, candied pepitas, and champagne vinaigrette, salsify soup with crème fraiche, chive, and chili-poached Alaskan King Crab, Border Springs lamb chops with celery root skordalia, seared bright lights Swiss chard, and chimichurri and a duo of flourless chocolate cake and satsuma chiffon tart with love potion anglaise. There will be a wine pairing option available for $35 per person. Patrons can also order off the regular menu.

Henry’s
Valentine’s menu available Feb 12-14th
Menu includes; Appetizer, Champagne Oysters Oysters on the half shell with a Champagne mignonette. Seared Scallops Over lobster risotto with a champagne buerre blanc. Pair with Petite Filet Oscar Henry’s famous crab cake and grilled filet mignon topped with béarnaise sauce, served over parmesan potato gratin and asparagus. Pair with a Pinot Noir. Dessert is a strawberry shortcake with vanilla ice cream.
