New Director of Business Development

Leland resident Hope Taylor joins the staff of Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association.

The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association (WCFHBA) is excited to announce that Hope Taylor is the organization’s new director of business development.

In this new role, Taylor will be working very closely with all the association’s members to enhance and showcase the benefits and value the WCFHBA offers. She will also be working closely with the association’s leadership team to help produce and enhance the association’s non-dues revenue streams and affinity agreement partnerships.

Before joining the Wilmington-Cape Fear HBA, Taylor served as the customer service manager for Untappd. In that role, she managed a portfolio of 3,000 small-medium business accounts, with an emphasis on revenue creation and customer retention.

A North Carolina native, Taylor is a proud alumna of East Carolina University, holding a B.S. in hospitality management and an MBA. In addition to her impressive career, she has strong ties to the construction industry. During her college years, she worked with ECU’s Construction Management Department and comes from a construction-oriented family with major ties to Caterpillar.

Recently married, Taylor and her husband are enjoying their new home in the Leland area and merging her personal and professional connections to the world of construction. Beyond her professional pursuits, Taylor finds joy in beach days, baking, travel, ECU football games and walks with her chocolate Lab, Bones.
