Soul Shoetique is the place in Wilmington to shop for super-cute shoes of all styles.

“I’m not afraid of heights, have you seen my shoes?” If you are as into shoes as style icon Carrie Bradshaw a la Sex & the City, it’s time to march those fashionable feet into Soul Shoetique, Wilmington’s premier shoewear shop.

Shoe shoppers can find a plethora of pumps — and clogs, sandals, sneakers, flats, boots, heels, loafers, slides, slippers and more. In addition to trendy footwear, Soul Shoetique offers an array of cute and curated accessories (jewelry, hats, sunglasses) and clothing selects (think: lounge sets, fringe leather jackets, tees and bralettes) fit for all #SoulSisters, ranging from college students to women in their golden years.

Behind the stylish institution since August 2022 is fashion guru Regan Timpson boasting a deep background in the fashion industry — from working in New York City on the buying side to transitioning to wholesale sales for big-name companies such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s and Shopbop. (She’s essentially the real-life Rachel Green from Friends!).

“When I moved to Wilmington almost two years ago, I realized there was a huge need for a women’s shoe and accessory store,” says the fashion professional. “I couldn’t believe there were only a few places to shop in Wilmington!”

From top-notch customer service and complimentary Champagne to shopping hand-selected items by Timpson herself, a trip to Soul Shoetique is not just your typical retail trip — it’s an entire experience. And for patrons who have been shopping at Soul Shoetique since its original opening in 2009, Timpson encourages checking out the store for exciting updates since she has taken ownership.

“Soul is fully stocked now for all your footwear and accessory needs,” she says. “Please come check us out as the store has changed — and we have something for everyone!”

“I love our customers,” Timpson adds. “ They are like family — and we want them to feel that way when they enter our store.”

Timpson donates a percentage of the store’s proceeds to METAvivor, a nonprofit organization benefiting women with metastatic cancer through support, research and awareness.

When the shoe specialist is not beautifying our coastal community one cute pair of shoes at a time, she’s spending time with her 12-year-old daughter — who just might step into her mom’s shoes one day (fingers crossed!).
