We find the best way to get the most out of your tapas bar experience is for each person to get something different for everyone to try, while also tasting Mariposas intentionally crafted wine list and exotic cocktails! 

Benny’s Big Time Pizzaria

Everything is better with a slice of warm cheesy pizza! Benny’s Big Time Pizzaria is a big brick building with a sign hanging off the side and a large slice of za right on the front – you can’t miss it (and you don’t want to)! The reviews for this establishment are on fire, just like their pizza that is made in their wood-fired oven! With so many options to choose from with unique names like “Kevin McCallister” and “Meating of the Minds”. Benny’s Big Time Pizzaria doesn’t discriminate, it has options for those with special health requirements like their Detroit-style gluten-free pizza along with a few meatless pizzas for the animal lovers! Satellite Bar & Lounge

After you grab a slice of pizza from Benny’s you probably want to chill, play some games, and listen to some good tunes. Well, look no further than directly across the street from Benny’s to Satellite Bar & Lounge. This modern-rustic tavern is where the hipsters hang and mingle amongst the funky music. Satellite host the “SoFro Second Sunday Market” with fresh produce, local seafood & artisans. Along with “Bluegrass Nights” providing live music. Outback you can converse on their upcycled seats and play games with your best buds. They also feature “Movies at Sundown” where you can sit in front of the big screen under the stars! They describe themselves as a “Neighborhood bar with cold beer flavors for every taste and budget” so whether you’re looking for a quick sip or to stay and play awhile you’ll want to check this place out! 

Block Taco

Block Taco is a taco window attached to Satellite Bar and Lounge! The name is pretty self-explanatory – get your taco and hang out on the block! With a little bar area by the window, side seating, and chairs to chill on the lawn it’s basically a block party! This isn’t just your basic taco spot, here they have nachos, tapas, with a wide variety of tacos like brussel sprout tacos, mushroom tacos, fish tacos, & more with meat! Right after you get your food at the window you turn to a self-serving toppings bar for you to build your Block Taco up.

Second Glass 

You’ll be craving your third glass here! In the heart of South Front the Second Glass is a wine-focused, seasonally changing, southern, and French-influenced wine bar. Choose from a large eclectic wine list and put your pinkies up as you sip over small plates, brunch, or a mouthwatering entree. You can buy by bottle or glass and even try a flight of wines if you’re feeling venturesome! Pair one of their light to medium-bodied reds with a charcuterie board to start, followed by a dry white for your seafood entree, and finish with a dessert wine to pair with the Second Glass’s heavenly vegan olive oil cake! Start your day with Wake Up Flow to get your body ready for the day and end it with Night Flow to leave you glowing and ready for bed! This yoga studio is not super close to the beach but promises to get you sweet & salty in their Sweet and Salty full-body yoga flow! Native Salt Cave and Wellness

Partake in some halotherapy in this super cozy salt cave at Native Salt Cave and Wellness located right under YogaSalt in South Front. Halotherapy is a healing process that involves breathing in the salty air. Some say many health issues can be improved through Halotherapy such as respiratory and skin conditions. It is said to relieve stress as you relax in an anti-gravity chair for a 45-minute session while breathing in the pharmaceutical-grade salt that circulates within the cave.
