Opera Wilmington has announced its 2023 summer production and upcoming events.

Enjoy a program of love songs and favorite arias sung by members of the cast of Opera Wilmington’s July 2023 production of La Traviata, while enjoying the view of the arboretum’s extensive camellia gardens.

Rising with Lawrence Brownlee

World-renowned tenor Lawrence Brownlee presents a program called Rising, consisting of poetry from the Harlem Renaissance set to music by Black composers.

Art in Bloom Gallery, Mayfaire Town Center, Wilmington
Enjoy a themed painting session guided by an accomplished local artist and enhanced with wine and nibbles while learning about the romantic story behind Verdi’s La Traviata. Verdi based the opera on Alexander Dumas’ novel “The Lady of the Camellias.”
