Gentlemen’s Corner

Gentlemen’s Corner is the premier men’s clothing and accessories store in Wilmington. The store, located on Eastwood Road in Lumina Station, is convenient not only for those who live in Wilmington but for residents and visitors to Wrightsville Beach and Figure 8 Island as well. The shop is known for its service as well as for its superb and unique selection of top quality designer men’s wear.

Gentlemen’s Corner features upscale menswear from great designers and brands including Robert Talbott, Hickey Freeman, Peter Millar, Verbier and Samuelsohn. Sportswear, trousers and sweater brands include Duck Head, Southern Tide, Alan Paine, Hiltl, Martin Dingman, Baroni and Atelier Gardeur. Everything from suits tailored for the boardroom to shorts and shirts for the dock are in stock.

Any visitor to the shop will be taken by the array of color. Combinations might include lavender and purple mixed with black or indigo blue setting off a cream linen jacket. “Palm Beach colors” including tangerine, purple and hot pink are striped across a golf shirt or appear in gingham checks on long-sleeve woven shirts.

All types of accessories are available. The store carries pocket squares, ties, bow ties and wallets, as well as dress and casual shoes by designer brand Johnson & Murphy. Sunglasses by Maui Jim and Oliver Peoples, belts by Smathers & Branson, and Pantherella socks are other items that are always in stock. The store carries a great selection of Yeti coolers too.

The Wilmington location is one of three Gentlemen’s Corner locations in North Carolina. The original store, launched by Chris Dalrymple, has been in business in Pinehurst for more than 30 years. In 2011, Dalrymple paired with Harrison Sasser to open the Wilmington store and in 2014, the two partnered again to start a store in Chapel Hill. Another shop is located in Palm Beach, Florida.
