Mark your calendars! The Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) Annual Riverfront Boat Show is back and ready to dazzle boating enthusiasts and families alike. This highly anticipated event will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., along the picturesque Cape Fear River. The show will stretch between Hotel Ballast and the Coastline Convention Center, offering a stunning display of wooden and fiberglass boats both on land and in the water.
This free, family-friendly event is a celebration of craftsmanship, maritime heritage, and the artistry of boat building. From handcrafted vessels built by CFCC students to custom creations by local craftsmen, attendees will have the chance to admire the skill and dedication that goes into these remarkable boats.
“The annual boat show gives our students a real-world opportunity to connect with experienced boat builders and proudly display their hard work,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “It is also a chance to inspire the next generation of craftsmen while celebrating the enduring legacy of maritime trades.”
