A Swinging Success

The 29TH Annual Boys & Girls Club Golf Classic at Landfall Country Club raised more than $43,000 for youth empowerment.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern North Carolina is celebrating the success of its 29th Annual Boys & Girls Club Golf Classic held at Landfall Country Club. The tournament is a cornerstone event in their fundraising efforts, and with amazing support from the community, it raised more than $43,000 to fuel programs that empower and uplift youth across southeastern North Carolina.

The event drew 30 dedicated sponsors and 112 players, showcasing the power of collective commitment to the Boys & Girls Clubs mission. The funds will play a crucial role in providing essential resources, mentorship and educational opportunities for young minds.

“We are so grateful for all the sponsors, volunteers, staff and community partners who make this possible,” says Kristin McPeters, chief development officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern North Carolina. “It is a true testament to the collective commitment of our community, sparking a positive effect that will empower and uplift the youth we serve. Every swing, sponsorship and shared moment on the course contributes to a brighter future for our Club members.”

For 126 years, Boys & Girls Clubs have served the Southeast region by being at the forefront of youth development, working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social and family circumstances. Its mission is to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
