Third Annual Wreaths of Honor Program

Honor veterans this holiday season with the Third Annual Wreaths of Honor program by the Friends of the Battleship North Carolina; purchase a wreath by November 22 to support preservation efforts.

The Friends of the Battleship North Carolina are excited to announce the Third Annual Wreaths of Honor program, a heartfelt initiative to honor veterans and active-duty service members this holiday season. By purchasing a 20-inch evergreen holiday wreath for $40, you can pay tribute to the brave individuals who have served our nation.

These wreaths will be beautifully displayed on the lifelines of the Battleship North Carolina from December 7 through the first weekend of the new year.

Each wreath is adorned with a ribbon and a personalized card, featuring the name, branch of service, and years served of the honored individual. Purchasers will also receive a photograph of their wreath via email once it is placed.

Don’t miss the chance to be part of this meaningful tribute. Orders for the Wreaths of Honor must be placed by November 22. You can easily purchase them online through the Friends of the Battleship’s website at battleshipncfriends.com/shop.

Last year, the Wreaths of Honor program honored 230 veterans with wreaths displayed on the historic Battleship during the holiday season. The proceeds from the sale of these wreaths support the Friends’ mission to Preserve the Legacy, funding essential programs, acquisitions, and restoration efforts for Battleship North Carolina.
